Marble Fireplaces

Marble fireplaces are often thought to be the sort of fireplace only the super rich could afford; this is not surprising with average prices above a thousand pounds. However, by cutting out the middle man and purchasing direct, it is possible to make considerable cost savings. We are on average 70% cheaper than many high street showrooms. All our marble fireplaces are manufactured in our own factory in Nottinghamshire. We import all the marble ourselves from Quarries overseas, and invest in the latest CNC machinery. We have a skilled workforce of over 30 full time marble masons. By selling direct, we make considerable cost savings, and pass this onto our customers in the form of lower prices and value for money. Our entire range of marble fireplaces is available in a choice of colours. Sienna Gold is a light pleasant cream background colour with subtle white veins. Milano Beige is a similar back ground colour, but is more homogenous and does not have any veining. Antique white is very chic and contemporary, and is a pure marble white colour. By offering a range of colours, our customers are more flexible, as they can select the marble fireplace that best suits their home, in a colour that matches the current decor. Our Marble fireplaces are available with our without a fire. We will always make our marble fireplaces as fitter friendly as possible. This involves manufacturing the fireplace with a 25mm rebate if they are going to be used with a gas fire, minimising the distance that needs to be filled to create an air tight seal against the chimney. Alternatively we can manufacture the marble fireplace with a deeper fire rebate, if you are going to be installing an electric fire against a flat wall. Whatever the situation, we will always call after an order is placed to get more information, and make sure the marble fireplace is as fitter friendly as possible. Marble Surround Our marble surrounds are manufactured from the highest quality marble, and weigh approximately 23 stone or 150 kgs. We offer free nationwide delivery to ensure that your marble surround reaches you without any damages during transit. All marble surrounds are fitted with unique hidden fixing brackets that are not visible when the marble surround is fully installed. This minimises the time needed to install the marble surround, and creates a much better overall finish. We have been making marble surrounds in our Nottinghamshire factory since 1989. We frequently get asked to make bespoke modifications to accommodate special requirements. It is very common to supply a marble surround with a non standard hearth to cover an existing carpet cut out that a customer may have. We have in the past even made marble surround to fit in-between the gap in a customer’s dado rail. Whatever the requirement, our friendly staffs are always on call to help. All our marble surrounds are carefully packaged in sections and then bubble wrapped. The entire marble surround is then placed in a secure crate, ready for transportation. As marble is fragile, this is a necessary process to minimise the risk of damage.
