At Creative Fireplaces, you can specify your Marble hearth in a choice of neutral colours making it an ideal choice for matching and decorating your room. A marble hearth is an elegant and sophisticated material and will enhance even a simple fire surround & will certainly create a stunning focal point. Marble is a soft material and although it is suitable for gas electric fires, it is not suitable for solid fuel fires (real fires)

Made To Order Marble Hearths
All our marble fireplace hearths are made to order in our Nottinghamshire factory using state of the art CNC machinery. We are able to achieve complex curved or profiled shapes with accuracy by using modern machinery in-house. Our team of skilled stone masons will profile your marble hearth on our high tech machinery depending on what is required and ensure accuracy. We have been making marble hearths in our factory since 1990 and have many years experience. Traditionally all hearths were carefully crafted using simple saws and grinders. Nowadays with the advancement in technology, CNC machinery can do the majority of the carving. Despite the advancement in technology, we still retain all the skills as we are one of the oldest British Manufacturers in the industry.
Carried into your home
To ensure your fireplace hearth reaches you in the same condition in which it left our factory, we offer nationwide delivery using our specialist drivers. All our fireplace hearth are carried into your home and are not delivered on a palletised delivery service. We prefer to deliver all our products in this manner (despite it costing more infernally) as we can ensure there are no damages and all our customers are assisted in carrying heavy products into their homes.
Our UK Factory
Unlike many other websites, Creative Fireplace is unique in the fact that we own a 45,000 square foot factory in Worksop Nottinghamshire. We manufacture all our own products in-house and unlike other companies do not sell cheap imports from low cost countries such as China. We are a direct importer of marble slabs, employ skilled stone masons, have extensive investments in sophisticated machinery, and supply all our products direct to our customers.

Hand finished to perfection
At Creative Fireplaces, all our marble hearths are hand finished to perfection to ensure the highest quality standards. Every piece that is cut and polished using diamond tipped blades and polishing stones. We also individually polish each section to ensure an en even higher finish.
Granite Hearths are a lovely addition to any fireplace. A Black Granite Hearth is a smooth shiny polished surface with a uniform texture and dark background colour. Granite is a much stronger material than marble and is suitable for gas & electric fires as standard. The hearth can be cut into sections and rejoined to make it suitable for use with a wood burning stove or solid fuel real fire if needed. Granite is a much harder material than marble and as a result is much heavier. Our unique delivery service involves carrying your hearth into your home. Unlike other companies, we do not deliver by dropping a pallet at your front door. Our specialist delivery service ensures your granite hearth reaches your home in the same condition in which it left our factory and also assists you in carrying the items into your home (especially useful for women and the elderly). We are unique in the fact that we are a fully integrated manufacturer with our own delivery network and are hence able to offer a seamless ordering process by controlling all aspects of your order from manufacturing right down to delivery.

Unlike many other websites that simply source goods from distributers and sell them online, Creative Fireplaces is a fully integrated manufacturer with a sophisticated 45,000 square feet factory. We source Granite from all over the world and manufacture all our granite fireplace hearths to order (not inferior imports from low cost counties). The majority of our hearths are made to order to fit customer unique specifications.

As a manufacturer with over 22 year's experience, we have built extensive contacts with our suppliers and are able to pass on the cost savings to our customers. We import large quantities of both Honed Slate & Riven Slate slabs and are able to manufacture slate hearths for a fraction of high street prices. We only stock premium grade slate (with over two decades experience), and our overseas suppliers reserve the best yield from their quarries for our factory. By stocking slabs of slate, we are able to offer substantial cost savings especially in cut to size hearths.
