has a very colour consistent dark rich background colour with a subtle natural black grain. Black Granite has a polished texture & is hard wearing.
Honed Slate
has a dark charcoal black background colour. The material has a homogeneous flat matt finish.
Riven Slate
has a dark charcoal background colour & gentle indentations running through the material. This material is more rustic & has a more characteristic natural look.

Details
We manufactured a variety of fireplace hearths & back panels in our Nottinghamshire factory and can make virtually any size or shape you require.
T-shaped hearths: This hearth is designed to have two sections. The back section is recessed into the inglenook fire chamber and cut to your size requirements
Suitability: This hearth has been cut and rejoined for solid fuel to create expansion joints & allow heat to disperse (needed to avoid risk of hearth cracking). Cut & rejoined hearth should be filled with cement on site
Panel: Back panel is not included and can be purchased separately if needed
